JASON S. ROSENWASSER, ESQ.

Jason S. Rosenwasser was born, raised, and educated in New York, bringing over 15 years of experience to the fields of personal injury, employment, civil litigation, and criminal law. He began his legal career at a respected Hudson Valley law firm, gaining hands-on experience in civil litigation and successfully negotiating millions of dollars in settlements for injured clients

Jason then became a prosecutor in both Orange and Rockland Counties, ultimately serving as Chief Trial Assistant District Attorney in Orange County. In this leadership role, he managed all aspects of complex felony prosecutions and never lost a felony jury trial. He also held supervisory positions overseeing County Court and General Crimes Units and was tasked with some of the most challenging cases in county history.

In private practice, Jason has represented individuals accused of crimes or who are injured, businesses, and employee bargaining units. His work spans from drafting employment agreements and collective bargaining contracts to representing and defending clients in courts throughout the state. He is also a panel member of the Legal Defense Fund, supporting over 135,000 public safety professionals nationwide. Known for his meticulous preparation, clear communication, and relentless advocacy, Jason is committed to providing exceptional legal service to every client.

DARLENE DE JESÚS, ESQ.

Darlene De Jesús brings a unique combination of prosecutorial and community engagement experience to Rosenwasser Law Office. She began her legal career at the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, where she managed all aspects of felony and misdemeanor prosecution, gaining extensive courtroom experience and overseeing cases from investigation through trial.

Darlene later joined the Orange County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney and served as the Community Affairs Coordinator. There, she spearheaded outreach initiatives, built relationships with community organizations, and created programs to connect the legal system with the public.

Darlene’s leadership extends throughout the legal community: she is a former President of the Orange County Bar Association and the District Attorneys’ League of Immigrant Affairs, and a former member of the New York State Bar Association’s House of Delegates. She holds a law degree and Public Service Certificate from New York Law School, where she participated in the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Law Clinic, and is a Leadership Orange alumna.

Originally from Washington Heights in New York City, Darlene grew up in a first-generation immigrant household and is a proud fluent Spanish speaker.

  • "Jason came advertised as a zealous advocate. I was told that he was a well- regarded former prosecutor in the Hudson Valley with a reputation as a fearless litigator who was always prepared. Suffice it to say, Jason lived up to the hype."

  • "I will always be grateful for the sincere empathy and compassion Jason demonstrated for myself and my family during a critical time in our lives. His relentless pursuit of the best outcome in my case was unparalleled."

  • "When I first needed help, I thought I was going to lose my job. Using his skills, dedication, and through the development of a unique legal strategy, Jason made sure that NEVER happened."

  • "Due to Jason’s hard work and professionalism, my arrest resulted in no criminal record and will have zero impact on my future employment."

  • "In each of the three cases, in three different courts, all of which started as felonies, Jason rejected every single offer made by the DA’s Office, opting instead to challenge the evidence. In each case, he was successful."

If you have a concern or question about a potential case, our team is here to help: in English or Spanish.
